In 1989 technicians from Fast Park Sistema Srl got together with another company to launch a product designed to resolve a particular problem: how to construct multistory carparking at Fiumicino Airport as part of the modernisation project to be carried out for the “Italia ‘90” Football World Cup without disturbing the airport’s daily operations.
From this group of professionals and entrepreneurs Fast Park® was born.
At first the company worked in partnership with others and acted as general contractor marketing the product, developing the business and expanding abroad in the early years of 2000.
From 2010 onwards relationships with other companies slowly broke down as they were no longer able to satisfy quality standards.
Fast Park Sistema Srl therefore single-handedly took over all activities of promotion, research, design, supply, installation and maintenance, and has continued to be the only holder of European patents of its own product (European patent no. 0-364-414, European patent no. 1-165-909, European patent no. 2-441-903).
The company has further developed on the international market by opening branches in London (Fast Park System UK) and Paris (Fast Park France).
Fast Park Sistema Srl and its branches have ISO 9001:2008 certification and also hold the following certificates:
- SOA cat. OG 1 (II) – cat. OS 18-A (III BIS) (Attestation for public contracts)
- EN 1090 (Compliance for the execution of steel structures)
- UNI EN ISO 3834 (Structural welding)
